As the school year fast approaches, The Salvation Army in Waltham hosted its annual "Tools for School: Backpack and School Supply Giveaway.

We are once again, calling upon our friends and neighbors to help those in need.

The wildfires in Utah, parts of Idaho and particularly in Spokane, Washington, have left thousands homeless, depleted emergency funding in a number of municipalities, and tragically there is no end in sight .

 We are doing a raffle once again to benefit Lions Club‘s International Foundation where the money will be dedicated to this disaster relief.

The winner will be drawn on Sunday, August 16, and will win two loge seats to a Celtics home game , to be mutually agreed-upon, with the winner choosing three games and being guaranteed of winning tickets to one of them.

We have had an amazing response when we have done these fundraisers, and has resulted in raising thousands of dollars for those in need.

Tickets are 4 for $25 and 10 for $50

**We can accept payments by Venmo, which is on the flyer, Zelle, PayPal or arranging for payments by check or cash.

Our goal will be to raise $5000, let’s not only meet that goal but surpass it.
