Established in 1996, AYF is an international youth football organization established to promote the wholesome development of youth through their association with adult leaders in the sport of American football. Rules and regulations are established to ensure that players play in an a

tmosphere of safety with a competitive balance between teams. AYF is one of the largest membership organizations dedicated to teaching youth through positive role models. Emphasis is on learning, playing, and enjoying the sport while instilling high moral standards by stressing the importance of academic achievement and community involvement. Helping kids become leaders and teammates, AYF players will learn to both foster confidence and a sense of self-worth that extend beyond the gridiron and into the school, family and community. Sportsmanship, teamwork, honesty, responsibility and self-discipline are among the traits needed by youngsters to face the future with positive aspirations and confidence. If we teach them positive lessons, such as playing by the rules, our young athletes will learn to live by the rules. AYF is an independent 501 (c) (3) non-profit corporation that provides support services, training, scholarships, grants, community programs and tournaments to over one million members in 50 states and several countries worldwide. AYF is committed to giving back, and since its inception in 1996, has donated over $15 million dollars in grants and athletic products to communities that support youth football. AYF was the first national organization to offer all-inclusive football divisions, enabling every child an opportunity to play.

🏌️‍♂️⛳ What an incredible day at our Annual Waltham Youth Football & Cheer Golf Tournament!

As we look through these photos, one thing is clear: this program is about so much more than football and cheer.

A HUGE shoutout to everyone who came out to support, sponsor, volunteer, golf, reconnect, and celebrate our organization. We saw generations of Devil Dogs, football and cheer families, parents, coaches, board members, volunteers, alumni, and community supporters all coming together for an unforgettable day.

The support shown throughout this event sends a powerful message to every child in our program: You matter. We believe in you. And we will continue working hard to ensure Waltham Youth Football & Cheer remains not only a strong program, but a community built on teamwork, hard work, fun, and supporting one another.

The people in these photos—and so many more we'll be recognizing over the coming weeks—are the reason our program continues to grow year after year.

We're also thrilled to share that, thanks to the incredible support of this event, we raised close to $37,000 for our program! 🎉

What an incredible day at the Waltham Youth Football & Cheer Golf Tournament!

Thank you to everyone who golfed, sponsored, volunteered, donated, and supported this event. Your generosity helps provide opportunities for our athletes to learn, grow, compete, and build lifelong memories and friendships!!

The impact of your support goes far beyond the golf course—helping fund equipment, uniforms, scholarships, safety initiatives, and the experiences that make WYFC such a special part of our community. Together, we’re helping the next generation develop teamwork, confidence, leadership, and a strong commitment to the Waltham community.
