The Executive Board of Amnesty International at Brandeis supports and stands in solidarity with the black student organizers and their allies who are presently occupying Bernstein-Marcus.

Amnesty international supports the right to non-violent protest and believes that the dignity of all people should be respected everywhere, including on Brandeis University Campus

The demands published by the page Brandeis Students of Color Demands and we would highly recommend that people read and understand what students are asking for.

There are 60 million refugee & displaced persons. 19.5 million have sought asylum. ALL countries have an obligation to help. Tell US leadership to protect refugees.

Raif is still in prison and some sources expect lashings to resume soon.

Support the abolition efforts of World Death Penalty by calling for Japan to commune the sentence of Matusmoto Kenji, a prisoner with a severe mental disability

He could be executed any day, but Kenji has a mental disability due to mercury poisoning and doesn't understand what will happen to him. Sign the petition to commute Kenji's death sentence.

Kimber Edwards' death sentence is communed to life in prison. Tremendous progress!

Gov. Jay Nixon did not say why he commuted the sentence of Kimber Edwards, on death row for hiring someone to murder his former wife, to life without parole.
