Waltham Group's Hunger and Homelessness

Waltham Group's Hunger and Homelessness Volunteer alongside your fellow Brandeis students to support and advocate for those who are experiencing hunger and homelessness in Waltham. Want to help out?

We offer a diverse array of volunteer programs that combat hunger and homelessness in our community. Friday Food For Thought

We collect unused guest meals from Brandeis students and exchange them for food from Sodexo. Our volunteers bring the food to a local day center where we serve the food insecure and chat with the guests. Volunteers sign up on a week-to-week basis. Halloween for the Hungry

Join us during Halloweekend to go door to door trick-or-treating for nonperishable food items that will be donated to those who are food insecure in Waltham! Spring Wellness Drive

Join us during the Spring semester as we go door-to-door in Waltham collecting socks and gently used clothing for the housing-insecure of Massachusetts. One Time Events

We volunteer at the Greater Boston Food Bank once a semester and a local mobile food pantry with Middlesex Human Services Agency once a month. Go to lists.brandeis.edu to join the Hunger and Homelessness listserv for further updates or to get involved! Or email [email protected] with any questions or concerns!
