On the plane to Entebee I was sitting next to a woman from the US. She has been laidoff from
USAid when it was shut down.Her focus was on treatment/ prevention of Aids patients in Africa. She started to cry when she told me 100s of children were dyeing daily because of no available treatment.
She told me that there were changes needed at USAid but the way it was handled was heartbreaking. She is now working with doctors doing AiDs research.
The leading cause of death in Bakka is still AIDs.
