IMANE hosted Cultural event on September 29th. On September 29th, the Indian Medical Association of New England (IMANE) held a cultural event for group members and families in Bedford, Massachusetts. The event was sponsored by Navina Wealth Management, a private wealth advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial Services, LLC. Those who facilitated the event included Dr. Sonali Khond, the current president of IMANE, along with other office-bearers, executive committee members, and volunteers. To start off the event, Mr. Shashin Vora, vice president of Navina Wealth, gave an insightful presentation on wealth management. The bulk of the event featured music and dance performances by various IMANE members and delicious food catered by event sponsors. This event proved highly successful in connecting people who lead busy, professional lives with the Indian arts, music, and community. The meeting concluded with the special guest of honor, Dr. Abha Agrawal, CEO of the Lawrence General Hospital Health System, who recognized the artists and volunteers involved in the event.
