About Delivered To Serve Ministry
Our Story
Established in 2017, Delivered to Serve Ministry Boston had its inception as a home cell that congregated every Wednesday evening in a living room in Waltham, Massachusetts. This was spearheaded by Pastor Alvin Mukisa and two of his other colleagues who had a common spiritual calling of restoring God’s Kingdom on earth and preparing the perfect church of Christ for eternity. At Delivered to Serve Ministry Boston, we are convinced that the church is God’s plan for displaying His glory to the nations because He wants you to live out that vision for your Christian life. When we accepted the Lord Jesus Christ, He called us to a new life, and we became his disciples and followers.
This means listening to Him, watching Him, obeying Him, following in His footsteps, hating what Jesus hates, and embracing what He embraces. Our mission is to prepare the body of Christ in these last days to withstand against the wiles of the devil and to bring deliverance to all through the knowledge of God so that all, together, may serve the Lord’s purpose for our lives without fear. (Luke 1:74-75)
Church Vision
To bring people back to God’s original purpose of perfection in Christ, serving Him and entering into life eternal. (John 6:39-40)
Church Mission
To guide people to obediently walk in God’s will of serving God without fear in holiness and righteousness all the days of their lives. (Luke 1:74-75)
Our Beliefs
Jesus Christ is the Son of God, was crucified, died, buried, and resurrected on the third day (1Corinthians 15:4)
Jesus Christ came to save us (Luke 19:10)
To be saved you have to believe in your heart the Lord Jesus and confess with your mouth (Romans 10:9)
In baptism of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8)
The Bible is the Word of God and Bible teaching should be a regular activity in the church (Matthew 28:19-20)
In nurturing believers into the knowledge, understanding, and love of God (Deuteronomy 11:18-21)
In caring for communities (James 2:14-17)
Ministers should be trained and equipped for effective leadership (Ephesians 4:12-16)
Fulfilment of the great commission by training servants of God to preach the Gospel (Mark 16:15)
In helping believers discover their gifts and talents for God’s assignments (Romans 12:3)
