We are thrilled to announce the release of our latest toolkit, "Principles and Standards for Information & Communication Technology in Prison." This collaborative effort, featuring esteemed organizations like the National Science Foundation INCLUDES National Network and co-led by Operation Restoration and Princeton's Princeton's Prison Teaching Initiative. The the final milestone in our march to unveil all of our new toolkits.

This document introduces the visionary project Prisons Evolving as Connected Communities (PeaCC), and delves into essential communication technology guidelines. From education and healthcare to mental health, legal assistance, and fostering connections with family and community, we’re committed to transforming the landscape.

We are proud to highlight our partner, Princeton University’s Prison Teaching Initiative, which has been recognized by PBS and NPR for its inclusive STEM programming for formerly incarcerated individuals.

Since 2017, this Ivy League institution has provided practical STEM experience and mentorship to students impacted by the criminal justice system. The nine-week internship, now in its eighth year, offers a stipend, academic support, and peer mentorship, helping interns gain valuable skills in STEM fields.

These challenges increase the risk of recidivism, contribute to lower income opportunities, exacerbate mental health issues, and lead to social isolation.
