Hi All, on Aug 1st 2026, ABATE will hold the 2nd Annual Owie run. This event benefits The Chubby Hands Foundation and Owen’s Mission. We will hold our annual luminary ceremony at the final stop, which is NU VFW. You may also purchase a ticket to have dinner with us after. Below are the Butterfly Luminaries that you will be able to take home with you. Cost is $10 each to cover materials, dinner tickets are $10 each. If you plan to attend dinner, let us know. This is an all day event, with raffles, prayers, love and community. Please also comment your order below with pink or blue and EXACTLY how you want it personalized. Your child’s name will be spoken, love shared and the candle lit in their honor this day. Much love to all and look forward to seeing you.

To my sweet little Chubba Bubba, blowing kisses to the sky today for what should’ve been your 16th Birthday. I will miss you as long as I breathe, but I know you’re with us and see what we’re doing in honor of you. The day I hold you again is the day my heart will be whole again.
