Join us for Oklahoma 4-H Junior Governor and explore the three branches of government, build public speaking skills and experience the election process firsthand. Designed for youth in grades 4-6, this hands-on event helps young leaders gain confidence, make connections and discover ways to serve their communities.

The event will be held Saturday, Nov. 7, in Stillwater. Registration is $20, and the deadline is Oct. 9, so sign up soon! ✍️

💚 Thankful Thursday is here! 💚

4-H is largely run by volunteers who work as leaders, chaperones, mentors, and in so many other roles. We could not do what we do without our wonderful support system.

Today we are thankful for them and all of our community partners who get us through each year and help us make our county youth

Mission Possible: OK 4-H Health & Wellness Discovery Day is Saturday November 7th!

Join other 4-H youth and Adults from across the state as they practice CPR and chest compressions, explore human anatomy, try medical equipment, experience health careers through virtual reality, participate in farm-to-fork nutrition activities, build a wellness kit to take home and learn from 4-H Healthy Living Ambassadors.

Youth will also tour the medical school, meet health professionals, and experience hands on learning to help them discover the MANY possibilities in the health and medical field.

When: Saturday November 7th, 2026
Where: OSU Center for Health Sciences in Tulsa
Who: 4-H Members 6th grade and up
Cost: $20 (Includes light morning refreshments, lunch, T-Shirt, and workshop materials)

Cotton County has Gone Green! The Extension office is showing it's 4-H pride on Go GREEN Day. Not only did the staff join in but the whole Southwest corner of the courthouse building will be lit up for National 4-H week and Oklahoma 4-H month.

When you think about your support system, who comes to mind? Maybe you have a friend who always helps you see the positives in a situation, or a grandparent who you turn to when you have a bad day. Those people are part of your support system. A support system is a network of people who provide you with emotional and practical help. It means you have people that you can rely on. A good support system can help you achieve things you thought were impossible, lower your stress, and increase your self-esteem! You want the right people to be there to help and cheer for you through life. To build your support team, here are some helpful tips:

· Focus on the relationships that offer the most positive but truthful advice and grow those.

· Try new activities alone or in groups to introduce you to fresh faces who may provide a positive influence and keep growing your support.
