📸 Photography Day Camp: Discover Your Town was a success!
Our young photographers spent the day exploring their community through a new lens. They learned that photography is more than simply snapping a picture. It's about telling a story, finding unique perspectives, and capturing details that others might overlook.

Throughout the day, members practiced composition, lighting, and creative angles. A special highlight was the opportunity to tour local businesses and organizations, where community members opened their doors and provided unique photography opportunities for our campers.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this day possible! By the end of camp, our youth had not only captured photos for county fair entries but also discovered that some of the best photo opportunities can be found right here in their own community.

🎨🖍️ Poster Day Camp was a success!
Our 4-H members spent the day researching, designing, and creating posters to enter in the county fair. From agriculture and livestock to 4-H promotion and career exploration, these youth put their creativity and knowledge to work. We can't wait to see their hard work displayed at the fair!

☀️ Summer Schedule Update ☀️

There will be no Horse Club or Music Corp meetings during the summer months. Both clubs will resume meeting in September. We look forward to seeing everyone back this fall! 🐴🎵

Why Attend the Oklahoma Conference on Volunteerism?

The Oklahoma Conference on Volunteerism is a new statewide event designed to support, celebrate, and strengthen Extension volunteers. OHCE members, Master Gardeners, Master FCS Volunteers, and 4‑H volunteers will come together for:

Engaging workshops
Hands‑on learning
Volunteer recognition
Networking with volunteers statewide
June 26–27, 2026 | OSU–Stillwater Campus

Fair projects are officially underway! Our 4-H members had a successful day learning about educational boards and getting creative as they started preparing their fair projects.

Members learned about the importance of color, organization, and what makes a good educational board stand out. We loved seeing their ideas, creativity, and hard work come to life as fair projects are already in the making!

What a meaningful way to honor Memorial Day! 🇺🇸 These dedicated 4-H’ers with Walters Rotary Club to place and later remove American flags at the courthouse lawn and throughout town. They were up bright and early at 6:50 a.m. to help set out flags and returned again at 5 p.m. to take them down.

So proud of these young people for giving their time, showing their patriotism, and serving their community — even on a holiday. ❤️🤍💙
