Yes… most people are attracted to a person’s outward beauty, not always knowing if their heart follows. Outward beauty is fleeting but inward beauty is everlasting. It will always show the goodness and God you carry inside. Lots of folk smile in your face and may say all the right things when there is nothing required of them. However when asked to actually “do something” their true heart will show and it may not be so “beautiful”. When someone’s convenience is challenged or resources are requested…that “beautiful” person shows us who they truly are. Strive to be more kingdom minded. Be mindful of who you praise…‼️🙏🏽✝️

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Beautiful Inside And Out
"Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; but let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price." ~1 Peter 3:3-4
A person’s spiritual beauty has a real impact on their physical beauty. Outward beauty may turn heads, but it’s inward beauty that radiates... real beauty comes from the inside. There are some people who are considered beautiful by the world’s standards, but they have allowed their souls to become tainted by bad attitudes, jealousy, selfishness and arrogance. Their spirits are corrupted by the ugliness of their character. Their spiritual ugliness also manifests itself in their physical appearance. It seems that these people walk around with a bad look on their face and their attitudes are just unbearable. Entertaining the enemy can cause your spirit to deteriorate. Just because you are beautiful doesn’t mean that you are awarded with a beautiful spirit. People with a beautiful spirit are beautiful because they are loving, generous, helpful. They are beautiful on the inside ... and these things shine through their physical body. Your spirit is the essence of your beauty. If we allow our souls to become ugly, our whole person becomes ugly. But if we care for our souls... we become truly beautiful people, inside and out.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Just A Temporary Moment

"For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;"
~2 Corinthians 4:17

We all face situations that look permanent. However, just because it seems permanent to us, doesn’t mean it’s permanent to God. In life nothing is easy, but remind yourself that God has something better for you.... there is an expected end. All things in this world are temporary, the Word of God, however is forever, but our circumstances are always temporary. Whether they be moments of sickness, moments of lack, or moments of pain and suffering.... nothing is permanent, all things change... but God never changes. No matter what circumstances you face, God's promises are true, His holiness remains, and His mercy and love endures forever. Don’t give up during this temporary moment in time.... your permanent solution is on the way. Be confidence knowing that your situation is temporary. God has already prepared a way out. Your life is in His hand.... all you have to do is walk the process out. The way is already made... what you are facing is just a temporary moment.

So often we do find ourselves enabling the people we say “love or care about”. We make excuses and hide behind our own guilt…all in the name of “if I don’t help them who will” or “that’s my family” knowing full well that your actions aren’t actually helping but co-signing and enabling their poor choices and bad behavior. It just may be their “testing time” and you are putting yourself in the way. Allow God to do what He does and allow that person to learn their lesson by making better choices. When we always make it a soft place to fall it makes it easier for them to stay in their sinful state. Instead of being part of the problem…Use wisdom and trust Gods’ process.🙏🏽🧡

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Don’t Enable Sin
“Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men's sins: keep thyself pure.” ~1 Timothy 5:22
When we enable, we actually disable those that need help. In this world of broken people, we need to know when to help... and we need to know when our 'help" is causing further harm. We should not enable people to continue in their sin or bad behaviors. It is more profitable for people to hear the truth and have a chance to get out of their situation, than for us to go along just to get along.... because their soul is at stake. Don’t enable them, but go to them in the spirit of love and offer them a word that can lead them down a better path. The Word of God allows us to see the perversion in the things that cause us to be in rebellion against God. One way we enable the sin of others is by rescuing them from their rightful consequences. God uses consequences to teach us lessons we would not otherwise learn. At some point, you have to let folks dig themselves out of their own ditches... so that they will not take that path again. We often enable the sin of others because of a false sense of compassion. Sometimes people need the hard truth so that they can see the error of their ways. It’s never easy to see a loved one experience difficulty, but sometimes the difficulty is just what God wants to use to teach an important life lesson.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Your Words Have Power

"Death and life are in the power of the tongue: And they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof." ~Proverbs 18:21

Words are powerful, and they can have a great impact either for good or evil. We must be careful about what we say, because words hurt... they can do lasting damage. The tongue can be used as a weapon to harm and destroy ....or as a tool to build and heal. You have the ability to speak life or death to a situation; to motivate or discourage; to lift people higher or to drag them lower; to inspire them to greatness or to push them to mediocrity..... all because of the words that come out of your mouth. What comes out of your mouth, depends on what’s filling your heart for “out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks”. A critical heart produces a critical tongue: a self-righteous heart produces a judgmental tongue; a bitter heart produces a harsh tongue; and a ungrateful heart produces a grumbling tongue. Your words can be “a fountain of life”, and on the contrary, they can also be "weapons of mass destruction." Therefore, be careful about what you say, because your words have power. There are no empty words, they will produce in a negative or positive way. Use your words to produce life and don't kill yourself or others with the words that you speak. After all life and death are in the power of your tongue.... your words have power.

Lord help us all🙏🏽. There’s so much “fake” love circulating and it’s definitely not of God. We say “I love you” to folks all the time but those are just empty words a lot of times. Most times our heart and actions prove different. Its one thing when you hear it from the “world”…that’s somewhat expected. It’s really sad when “church” folk share in these same actions.😩 When will we really follow God’s example of LOVE. Stop with the picking and choosing who you want to love for your own superficial reasons. Time out for the phoniness and counterfeit love…Don’t allow your emotions and actions to affect your relationship with God. Just be REAL‼️🧡 God already knows your heart🧐

Love & Hate

"Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. ~Romans 12:9 NLT

Love and hate are two powerful emotions that can cause a person to act out in a good way or a bad way. Don’t hate anyone that God loves.... and don’t love anything that God hates. In the midst of intense hurt and pain make love your first choice... and not your last resort. Be angry in the right way. Address those who have wronged you in a stern but loving matter. Don’t let hate infiltrate your heart and get you out of character. This type of behavior only hurts you. It gets you out of fellowship with God. The Lord has an expectation of you, because you are suppose to represent Him. When we are hurt or wounded in relationships, our hearts are prone to seek revenge. However, when we show love and compassion, we are revealing the God within us. It is important to be in constant rememberance of how God loved us at our worst. We need to live in gratitude, rather than hurting others with hateful words and actions. Only hate those things that God hates. Choose love over hate.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~God Knows
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” ~Romans 5:8
God knows our selfish desires, He knows our unhealthy thoughts, and He knows the sins we have committed. Yet He loves us in spite of us. Despite all of our shortcomings God made a way for us. He rescued us from eternal destruction because of His great love for us. Because of God’s grace and mercy, we do not receive the punishment that we deserve. God pardons all the sins of those who believe in Christ. God doesn’t just pardon our sins.... He initiates a personal relationship with us. He walks with us intimately, He cares for us immensely, and He blesses us immeasurably. We should not walk around as people who are on death row. The Bible says, “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” We are not dead men walking.... but heirs and joint heirs with Jesus Christ. God knows everything and He will not hold your past against you, because you are covered by the blood. He has made provision for us to be in our eternal home. Through Christ we can have a new life, and a new future.
