Fishers of Kids Anglers Academy Fishers of Kids Anglers Academy is a youth outreach program, centered around getting children outside to experience the outdoors through fishing.

The Fishers of Kids Anglers Academy is a fishing/outdoors youth outreach program, intended for at-risk youth who come from families with low socioeconomic status, as a way of providing free, positive alternatives to destructive or antisocial behavior, while teaching them real-life lessons and skills.

Can you guess what time it is?! The ’s fishing camp tackle/gear collection and prep is under way.
Our first fishing camp will be held in Kinston for forty-five Hope Preparatory School middle schoolers on May 14th. On June 9th and 10th, we will partner with the Greene County 4-H from 8:30-12:30 in Snow Hill. Finally, we meet up with the Wilson County 4-H NC in Macclesfield on July 6th.
As always, volunteers and donations are greatly needed. If you’re interested in getting involved in any way, please let me know. All donations are tax-deductible and will be used to buy fishing gear and supplies for over 100 kids participating in the camps this summer.
