🛒 Can You Help WCFP? Costco Helpers Needed!

We're looking for a volunteer to join an experienced Pantry driver on some upcoming Costco runs.

📅 Thursdays, September 10, 17 & 24
⏰ Meet your driver/partner at the Pantry at 10:00 a.m.
🏁 Wrap up around 12:00–1:00 p.m.

What you'll do 🚐

Your partner will drive the Pantry van to Costco. You'll help pick up and load the food, bring it back to the Pantry, and unload and stock it in our warehouse.

There are about 40–50 boxes per run, so you'll need to be comfortable lifting 30–40 pounds.

You don't need to commit to all three dates. If you can help on even one, we'd love to hear from you! 🙌

There’s More Than One Way to Help 💙
You don't have to volunteer every week to make a difference at the Walpole Community Food Pantry.

You can:

🥫 Donate food or needed household items
💙 Make a financial donation
🤝 Volunteer your time
🚗 Help with food pickups or deliveries
📣 Share information about the Pantry with someone who may need it
🏢 Support the Pantry through your workplace or employer matching program

And sometimes, simply sharing a post can make a difference.

The Pantry is 100% volunteer-run, and our community makes everything we do possible. So whether you give your time, your resources, your skills—or simply help spread the word—thank you! Every little bit helps us keep nutritious food moving to our neighbors who need it. 💙

🩲 What do underwear, socks and feeding people have in common? More than you might think.

A recent donation of 4,500 pairs of underwear set off a chain of connections that helped the Walpole Community Food Pantry get useful items into the hands of people who needed them—and strengthened relationships that help us secure food for our clients, too.

We’re grateful to Provision Ministry for being part of this story and for the connections that make this kind of community impact possible. 💙

Every week, more than 80 local volunteers make it happen: picking up food, inventorying, organizing, packing, and delivering to over 300 families right here in our community. 💪

Whether it's a regular weekly shift or a special skill you bring, there's a role for you. We train every volunteer, no experience needed, just a willingness to show up for your neighbors.
