Hydromechs ROV is a marine robotics team that competes in an international contest in which a team of middle-school and high school students collaborate to create a ROV (remotely operated vehicle) that can perform a multitude of tasks underwater. Members not only get an opportunity to get hands-on with the physical construction of the ROV, the competition also provides an opportunity for them to w

ork on their public speaking skills. Hydromechs ROV provides a gateway for students to make a transition from their academic learning to vocational application.
