This time tomorrow, people will be lining the streets from Nogales St to Rowland Heights Park on Colima to wait for the Buckboard Days Parade. Join us on Saturday October 18th, 9-11am for the 52nd Annual Buckboard Days Parade.

The Buckboard will be carrying our Grand Marshals Lynne Ebenkamp and family & David and Teri Malkin.

Bands will be performing. Horses will be trotting. Ropes will be lasso'ing.Cars will be filled with people who want to show their support of the community.

Local schools will be beaming with pride.

And Ghostbusters will be answering your call 📱 Yeah that's right, The LA Ghostbusters 👻 will be in the parade because someone apparently called them.

See everyone soon!!

We’re gearing up for the 52nd Annual Buckboard Days Parade & Festival this Saturday, October 18th — and we need a few more early-morning heroes to help us make it happen! 🎉

If you’re free from 6:30 AM – 10:30 AM, this is your chance to:
🎖️ Earn community service hours
🎺 Be part of the parade (without marching!)
📣 Keep our lineup and route running smoothly

We especially need help with:
👉 Line-Up Zone – guiding entries and walkers
👉 Parade Route Crew – keeping things safe & cheerful
👉 Program Passers – handing out event programs to spectators

🍩 Donuts, good vibes, and community spirit included!

📍 Check-In: Rowland Heights Library (Command Center)
🚗 Parking: Old 99 Cents Store lot – NE corner of Nogales & Colima, or get dropped off by Killian School
🕕 Time: 6:30 AM – 10:30 AM
📝 Waivers MUST be signed by a parent/guardian — no exceptions. PERIOD.
