This Wednesday, we want to feature Sharon Brown. We’ve had the pleasure of working with Sharon and amplifying her story and how she ended up becoming a painter in Oakland, CA because of a construction poster. 🏗️

That paired with a desire for a hands-on career allows Sharon to continue to transform buildings and show other women that the skilled trades are a wonderful career opportunity. 💪

The journey of becoming an ironworker apprentice is phenomenal!

The excitement and support while going to school, the hands-on welding classes, and the endless opportunities to learn and grow are just incredible. Plus, meeting new people along the way makes it even more rewarding. 👷‍♀️💪
