Encounter 1:11 Outreach is a ministry whose purpose is to help those in the community by fulfilling their physical and spiritual needs.

Our desire is for each child, individual, family touched by this ministry to grow in all facets of their lives.

Encounter 1:11 is partnering with the Slone family in blessing KY with much needed shelf life snacks, Bibles, small toys, feminine hygiene products, etc. Mr. Slone will travel on Monday, August 8th to his hometown of Elkhorn City, KY to deliver much needed help to a community he loves. We will be going through our inventory and also purchase additional items Saturday, August 6th, and Sunday, August 7th. 🎉Happy New Year from Encounter 1:11 Outreach Ministry. We pray 2022 will be your best year for living, loving, restoring, sowing and growing personally, emotionally, spiritually. As we mark our one year anniversary we reflect on how the Lord has used Encounter 1:11 to sow and support other ministries. It has been a pleasure to bless and watch others extend their resources to the community. For what they have sown we also reap the reward of the Father saying “Well done!” As we seek direction for Encounter 1:11 in 2022 we are hearing three words from the Father. To engage, to encourage and to equip.
Engage- attract, involve, draw
Encourage- support, give confidence, hope
Equip- supply, prepare with the necessary items for a particular purpose
We will continue to support the community and ministries with food and resources needed, we will host Camp Hope for kids wherever He leads, and bless kids with Encounter 1:11 Bright Spot Care Packages. As He drops an encounter, we connect, and go. The Father is speaking strongly to us about discipleship. Soon, we will be launching a 6 week event featuring the Bible Study by Jennie Allen entitled Get Out of Your Head: A study in Philippians. This will be a no cost Bible study. We will provide a meal, child care and a homework clinic. We are in the process of seeking a location, team members who will support the event with their time and those who will sponsor a meal. The Bible study from start to finish will be one hour and thirty minutes to accommodate work and school schedules. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate. 🎄Merry Christmas! We are launching our Christmas giving campaign in partnership with Heroes Helping Heroes, the Seeds of Hope Summer Camp. Campaign dates are Sunday, December 5th through Friday, December 24th. Heroes Helping Heroes is a non-profit organization that empowers orphans, foster, adopted, and other vulnerable children by creating vital mentor relationships and providing meaningful life experiences and skills training that ultimately enhance their spiritual and emotional wellness and promote their joyful futures. Encounter 1:11 adopted two families with multiple siblings. The gifts for the five children (5) are purchased and you can partner with Encounter 1:11 by sowing a $5.00 monetary donation per child. 🍂🍁It has been a busy November for Encounter 1:11. Our final boxes of children's books were shipped this week to Hazard, KY. A total of 150 children's books are on the way. Thank you Freewater Church for covering all mailing cost. You are a blessing to us! We sowed into KCC's outreach to serve the homeless with the purchase of women's and men's winter hats, toboggans, gloves and socks. We also purchased oranges and gave Nekot cookies in partnership with Meals on Wheels of Forsyth and blessed the residents of Crystal Towers. 🍁🍂Wonderful news! Encounter 1:11 is shipping 150 children's books starting this week, November the 8th, to Hazard, KY in partnership with MWOA Appalachian Thanksgiving Outreach. Thank you is not enough to express our gratitude to the friends of Encounter who have sown with a monetary gift or with a book donation. Also this week Encounter 1:11 purchased individually wrapped cookies to complete 400 shoe boxes for our ministry partner On Wings Like a Dove which will be distributed in Forsyth County. We will be releasing our next giving campaign for Christmas next week in partnership with the Seeds of Hope Camp in Stokes. Blessed to be a blessing! 🧂 &💡 everyday.. 💞

As of Monday, October 25th, we have over 100+ beautiful books to bless the MWOA Appalachian Thanksgiving Outreach. Thank you to those who have sown and for those who will. What a fantastic Hispanic outreach at Moratock Park. We arrived to find a PH Hispanic church from Winston Salem was at the river having a cookout and water baptism. We blessed the families with bananas, dried pintos, black beans, rice and an assortment of snacks. All the children received goody bags and coloring books. Before leaving for the afternoon we joined together in a time of prayer and praise where the Lord blessed and encouraged many with personal ministry. What a great day. Just like the Father! 🧂&💡Everyday! 💞

🍁Beautiful books are arriving at 111 Cameron Street! As I open the books and run my hand over the pages and smell the fresh print I think of the child, pre-teen, teenager, family these books will bless. 🍁🍂Encounter 1:11 is shipping over 100 children’s books to Hazard, KY to bless the MWOA Appalachian Thanksgiving Outreach. Men and Women of Action (MWOA) affiliated with the Church of God, provides an opportunity for men and women to volunteer their skills in building projects around the world. Even though their main emphasis is coordinating construction teams, they also work with disaster relief and recovery, humanitarian projects, celebration teams, and discipleship training. In support of our dear friend, Ms. Cynthia Penny, who is traveling with the MWOA team, Encounter 1:11 is now in a children's book campaign till Monday, November 1st. We are collecting books for ages newborn through 12th grade. You can also make a financial donation of $5.00 to sponsor a child. PayPal link listed below.
