Rural Two-Spirit and LGBTQIA + people are a huge part of Oregon’s story too 🌲🐓

Some of us are dreamers building community in smaller towns with fewer resources — and our experiences and needs deserve to be reflected in statewide advocacy.

Pride in Numbers is making sure rural voices are represented in our statewide story to support the programs, services and policies we need.

We are a community-led research project designed by Two Spirit & LGBTQIA+ across the state — most of us BIPOC and outside urban areas.

Visit our Data Protection Practices on our website to learn more about how we keep your information secure.

Invest a few minutes.

Take the survey. Submit your art.

Share your rural Two Spirit and LGBTQIA + voice.

We’re grateful to see OPB highlighting the importance of community-led research across Oregon. 💛

Too many decisions about our lives get made without us. Pride in Numbers is helping create a portrait of Two-Spirit and LGBTQIA+ life in Oregon — by us, for us — so our communities are visible in the data shaping policy, funding, services, and our collective future.

Thank you to everyone who has shared, participated, hosted conversations, and helped spread the word across urban, rural, and frontier communities alike. 🌲🏳️‍⚧️🌈

Read the article below and help us continue reaching community before the survey closes May 31st.

Q***r Eugene is proud to partner with Pride in Numbers – a community-led, statewide research project by and for Two-Spirit and LGBTQIA+ people across Oregon. Through an online survey, storytelling sessions and a Community Art Project, Pride in Numbers is creating a powerful portrait of Two-Spirit and LGBTQIA+ life in Oregon. 🌈

Throughout history, Two-Spirit and LGBTQIA+ folks have been misrepresented, uncounted or erased in institutional data.
Especially in times of misinformation, data grounded in lived experiences provides a counterweight to harmful and inaccurate representations of Two-Spirit and LGBTQIA+ lives.

🗓️Take the survey or learn more about participation at prideinnumbers.org by May 31st.
