Sometimes, it becomes deeply personal.
I have a family member—who will remain unnamed for security reasons—serving as a Petty Officer Second Class with the Navy’s Maritime Expeditionary Security Group (MESG). His unit is responsible for port and ship security and is currently deployed in the Middle East, a region facing ongoing conflict.
Recently, the base where he is stationed, along with others nearby, came under attack. Thankfully, he and his fellow service members were unharmed. However, the incident resulted in lost equipment and unexpected expenses as they responded to the emergency.
This week, all donations to the Foundation will be directed as a grant to support him and help offset those costs.
This is not the first time war has touched our lives—and it never gets easier. In moments like these, when so much feels out of our control, it brings some comfort to know there is still a way to help.

I told the Regan’s there was no need to have me in the picture because I really didn’t do anything. But they insisted.
The Regan foundation said would you like to partner and I said, of course, yes.
Five dollars for every Thanksgiving day on a roll that we sold would go to the charity of my choice.
They said you can pick the charity and I chose our furry friends. I wanted to give the voiceless a voice.
Now $11,865 is going to the Wallingford Animal Shelter.
So, everyone who bought a Thanksgiving Day on a roll from us made a huge difference in our furry friends lives.
Thank you again to the Regan Foundation who’s Has done so much for this town

P.S. We talked to the town attorney and we are going to word it medical treatment of the Shelter animals so it will only go to animals. By labeling it the way we did. The money will go only to the treatment of animals. Thanks again for your support
