Congratulations to Shirt Graphix, your 2026 AAA Tournament Champion!!!

With a vivid thunderstorm rolling in and trailing 14-1, runner-Up Incredible Oil demonstrated “incredible” sportsmanship by conceding rather than forcing additional play after the weather passed, allowing everyone to briefly celebrate a GREAT season before scrambling to cars to head home.

Heat Advisory - We have had some questions as to WYLL’s policy on dealing with the forecasted heat. Here’s what we’re doing to keep our players, spectators, and volunteers safe.

When heat indices (a/k/a “feels like”) exceed 90 degrees, the following steps are mandated:

1) Mandatory hydration breaks every 2 innings (or more if needed as determined by umpire / coaches / league officials)

2) Strict limit of 3 innings maximum for catchers.

3) Air-conditioned cooling off area in our clubhouse

4) Managers are instructed to watch their players for signs of heat fatigue (dizziness, light-headedness, flushing, etc)

Note that concessions will be open tonight for cold drinks and frozen treats only, no cooked food. Ice packs are available at concessions as needed.

In addition to the above, game times may be adjusted to cooler evening hours, so be on the lookout for schedule changes.

The above was developed in conjunction with our long-serving Safety Director, an experienced first responder.

For District Tournament (“All Star”) games, WYLL follows District guidance which is similar to the above.
