This week, we hosted our Annual Regulatory Day in partnership with Connecticut's Department of Public Health (DPH), and it was a full house!

This valuable educational event focused on the latest industry updates, regulatory changes, and emerging trends affecting the healthcare-at-home community. Participants received important updates on topics including:

• Epidemiology and public health trends
• Licensure requirements
• Survey readiness and compliance trends
• Workplace violence prevention and reporting
• Residential care at home
• Medication administration

The day concluded with a regulatory debrief and interactive Q&A session led by our President & CEO, Tracy Wodatch, and Association Legal Counsel, Jody Erdfarb.

Yesterday was an incredible day for our association as we gathered for another successful Connecticut Statewide Hospice & Palliative Care Summit. It was truly a day filled with education, meaningful connections, collaboration, and renewal.

Healthcare professionals from across the state came together to learn, share ideas, celebrate one another, and strengthen our commitment to compassionate care. From inspiring speakers to valuable conversations and networking, the energy in the room reminded us all how important this work truly is.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended, supported, sponsored, presented, and helped make this event such a success. Your dedication to hospice and palliative care continues to make a difference in the lives of so many patients and families throughout Connecticut.
