Experiencing the shoreline while volunteering is part of the Give Back Girls fun! 🤩 After Saturday’s volunteer event, GBGs (Johanna) and (Arlene) headed out in search of a warm cup of coffee.
Google led us to the cutest little hidden gem — Old World Roasters in East Haven. After spending two hours volunteering in the drizzly weather, this cozy spot was exactly what we needed.
The moment we walked in, we were greeted by the rich, comforting aroma of freshly brewed coffee. Johanna and I instantly looked at each other and let out the same synchronized “mmmmmm!” ☕️
Seating was limited, but if you were lucky enough to grab one of the comfy benches, you had front-row seats to the steady stream of customers ordering specialty coffees and lattes while the barista carefully crafted each drink with the love and attention needed for the perfect cup.
I enjoyed an Almond Joy Latte while Johanna warmed up with a Lavender Matcha — both were absolutely amazing.
We chatted with our bench neighbors and even explored the back room where yoga classes are held. What an incredible little find! I can’t believe I’ve passed by this place so many times without stopping in.
That definitely won’t happen again. Until next time, we invite you to experience it for yourselves — Old World Roasters in East Haven. Enjoy! 😊
