Em left us suddenly 4 years ago today. It’s hard to believe 4 years has passed without her here, but we feel her in both the big moments and the small moments.

We started EFF as a way to honor her memory and her mission to support and educate as many people as possible about Ovarian Cancer.

Bottom line is we need more research and research needs funding. We need a diagnostic test for Ovarian Cancer so that we can catch it earlier. Ovarian cancer is much more curable when diagnosed at a stage 1 or 2, but those statistics take a nosedive when diagnosed at stage 3 and 4. Em was diagnosed at stage 3c. She lived through rigorous treatments for 3 years. She rarely complained, even though she had every reason to.
