Round Tuit has came to Parish Reservaiton
We are excited to offer this great program here at Parish Reservation. Please mark you calendars for the 1st Saturday of every month starting February 4th. 9am - 3pm.
Here is the list of projects for Parrish Round Tuit you asked for to put in the Facebook post.1-5 will probably the first prioty.
1. Clean out campfires and make sure stone rings are in place.
2. Clean out ditches along road to stop erosion.
3. Remove downed trees and branches.
4. Clean gutters on all buildings.
5. Cleanup around entrance.
6. Clear area for campsite by dock.
7. Make BB, Archery, and sling shot range behind shower house.
8. New signs for campsites and traffic (speed limit, stop, one way, etc).
9. Repair leaking water spigot in parade field.
10. Repairs to amphitheater seating and other miscellaneous items need fixing.
Materials needed:
1. rough cut cedar boards for signs.
2. Railroad ties for amphitheater.
Someone with plumbing skills needed to fix water leak. And carpentry skills to help at amphitheater.
Everyone needs to bring gloves. Tools are in short supply, so if anyone can bring shovels, rakes, chain saw, and hand saws it would be helpful.
Everyone gets a hat for helping. Need head count by January 27 to make sure we have enough food.
