With heavy hearts, we share that Shyamali passed away at the Gaushala on September 23, 2026. The doctor believes that extreme heat and dehydration may have contributed to her death. We held her final ceremony on Wednesday evening with prayers and deep love. Although she was with us only briefly, she meant so much to us and will be missed. We wish her peace on her onward journey. 🙏
We will miss you Shyamali !!!!

Pitru Paksha is the sacred fortnight to remember and honor those who have left us. Our elders taught us — feed a cow, and your ancestors receive it. We humbly invite you to join us at Texas Gaushala for a cow feeding and Sankalp in memory of your loved ones.
