Auditions for the summer melodrama "May the Farce be With You, or...The Empire Sings Flat" are here!!

This show is a 45 minute Star Wars parody melodrama followed by a musical r***e after intermission.

Auditions are April 15th and April 22nd from 5-7 p.m. at the Sixth Street Melodrama building, 212 Sixth Street in Wallace.

Busy during those times? Leave a Facebook message for the directors Harley Duce and Drake Duce, or send them an email at [email protected] to schedule another time to audition before April 25th. You can also message them or use this email to send any questions you may have.

Rehearsals will begin the first week in May, and the production runs Thursdays through Sundays, July 9th through August 9th.

Plan on reading from a script, and singing a simple song as part of your audition.

These auditions are for the summer melodrama only, and are different from the open auditions that require booking an appointment.

Today’s 3rd annual Wallace Foodbank Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot was a blast & extremely blessed with lots of fun, great volunteers, raffle drawings, a record 88 participants out for a run, walk & dressed accordingly for wobble gobble fun prior to a thankful & grateful Thanksgiving meal!🦃🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🚶🚶‍♀️
Next year let’s shoot for 100 or more with a start/finish arch, music and more!
Thank you all for coming out, having a blast & most importantly making a huge difference to support our local Wallace Food Bank for our community!

We are extremely blessed, thankful & grateful for an extremely supportive community!

Btw, the Free Thanksgiving Community Dinner meal this afternoon was another supportive successful event for all at our local Elks to support our local Wallace Food Bank for our community!

The raffle tickets were announced at 4:30pm, given out accordingly to winners at the Elks and other winners will be contacted if not today, this weekend!
