The Walla Walla Family Resource Center provides variety of services and activities that promote healthy development in children. Families receive the support they need through parent mentoring via Parents as Teachers; Family Navigation Resources, our Triple Point LGBTQ+ support group; summer recreation programs and tutoring programs at Valle Lindo to help support children’s academic success; and e

arly learning programs through Early Head Start. We also operate the Walla Walla Early Learning Center located at 354 S 3rd St to those that qualify. Please call 509.525.3532 for more information.

Hello Walla Walla Community!

Akin is working on programming to engage the community while providing helpful information, fun family experiences and family education. We would really like to tailor the programming to the needs and interests of our community! These programs will be open to all families in our community, so there are no requirements to join.

Some programming examples are:
Healthy Eating
Nature Walks
Art Activities
Financial Classes
Parenting Classes
Mom/Dad Support Group

Back to School Community Resource Fair!

Join us for our Back to School Community Resource Fair this Thursday, August 13th. We will have local organizations and community partners come together to help students and families get ready for the school year!

Date: August 13th, 2026

Time: 4pm- 6:30pm

Location: Walla Walla Housing Authority Gymnasium and Washington Park Area.

This event is free and open to the public! Bring the whole family and invite your friends.
