We have been a respected part of the music scene in the Walla Walla Valley since that time. The Chorus and its quartets have performed in every possible scenario in our home town. We’ve opened City Council meetings, opened basketball and baseball games, kicked off July 4th celebrations in the Park, entertained for local social groups and business functions, on the Pepsi stage and in the Pavilion a
t the Fair, the Balloon Stampede, the Ducky Derby, the Farmers’ Market, as guests of the WW Symphony, statewide conventions of firemen, loggers, and veterans, and in annual shows – to name just a few! As part of Region 13, our chorus and quartets have represented our area in regional competitions and at educational seminars within the Region and at International locations. Our members have benefited from the quality instruction presented by outstanding faculty members of Sweet Adelines International. They are encouraged by the Chorus Leadership to gain the knowledge which allows them to enhance their vocal and performance skills. Additionally, they develop administrative, organizational, and personal life skills through their involvement in Sweet Adelines. Making music together draws us into relationships that last a lifetime and it’s our hope that every woman who LOVES TO SING will find a spot on the risers of Blue Mountain Chorus !!
