Fastest time of the day 100 yards at 7.076 seconds. Thank you everyone who came to enjoy our fun Fast Coursing Ability Test at Murr Sports Park. We had 30 individual dogs entered and multiple runs per dog.

Now that spring is here with warmer weather and longer days come join us Tuesdays at 6:00 pm at Tietan Park (by the parking lot) for handling practice and get warmed up for those spring and summer shows. If performance events are more your thing we have members who would be happy to give advice and guidance for those events as well.

It is too hot for handling practice today. I’ll reevaluate next week. Stay cool everyone and keep your dogs’ feet off the hot concrete.

We will not be meeting for handling practice tonight as club members will at the Walla Walla Sweets baseball game for the Bark in the Park game.

We will begin meeting for informal handling practice on Tuesdays at 6:30, weather permitting, at Howard Tietan near the parking lot off of Tietan. These practices are open to the public at no cost and may not be formal classes but there will be members present willing to give advice and instruction to anyone interested.

Tomorrow will be our last handling practice before the show in Kennewick. We will be meeting at 4:00 instead of 6:30 due to the shortening daylight. All are welcome to join us near the playground at Fort Walla Walla.
