Running Waters Equity Fund

Running Waters Equity Fund Meanwhile, there is an urgent need to address how these inequities have been amplified by COVID-19.

Running Waters Equity fund supports culturally relevant programs, services, and activities in the Blue Mountain region that are working to end the systems that cause and perpetuate inequities in our community. There is an ongoing need to reflectively evaluate and actively address systemic inequities, which disproportionately impact racialized groups and other traditionally marginalized communities

. We are in a cycle where an awareness of systemic racial inequities is increasingly being acknowledged; the time is now to focus our work on racial equity which will positively impact equity for traditionally underrepresented communities. We do this by providing grant funding for projects aimed at lessening inequities for communities of color and for organizations whose boards or leadership teams are reflective of and accountable to communities of color.

So grateful to be in a place to help serve.

Yesterday we were surprised with a grant from the Running Waters Equity Fund to support food and basic needs relief for our older adult community.

We are continually grateful for support from community partners to ensure older adults can access nutritious meals, social connection, and healthy aging resources. Thank you, Running Waters Equity Fund!
