Republic Services said the driver had limited time today so if anyone was missed on their bulk pick-up, they will be working on getting them throughout this week. Leave it out and please be patient. They also missed a couple of streets today due to the truck hitting a low-lying power line.

Just a reminder for those you have had questions about large item pick ups lately.

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY REGARDING BULK PICKUP: Bulk pickup will be on the 4th Monday of each month. You will not have to call the trash contact phone, just put it out with your trash on the 4th Monday of the month. If you have anything extra, you will call Republic at 800-843-9631 to pay and schedule that pickup!

Don't forget - mattresses and box springs must be wrapped in plastic and if you need plastic call or text the Trash contact phone at 219-346-0452.
