Update to Sidewalk Work:

Please be advised that the sidewalk replacement project timeline has been adjusted. While the tree root work has been completed, the sidewalk work will now follow a phased approach, resulting in a slightly longer schedule.

The contractor has already remarked and sawed several sections today and will begin tear-out and replacement tomorrow and Friday for some sections. Due to the volume of work, the project will extend into next week. If weather conditions remain favorable, the project is expected to be completed by the end of next week or sooner.

During this process, sidewalks under replacement will be inaccessible for up to 48 hours while curing (in some cases, less). Please do not walk on these areas until barriers are removed and the curing process is complete.

Again, affected areas include:
• Phoenix Court
• 100 Block of Polaris Drive
• Portions of the 200 Block of Polaris Drive (up to 207)
• Capricorn Road

Greetings Sun Meadow Residents,

The Town Parks Committee is hosting a tree planting at Trout Park starting at 9:00am. Volunteers for this event are appreciated and encouraged. There will be about 20 trees to be planted that have been donated. The holes will be pre-dug for the trees. Volunteers will plant, mulch, stake and cage trees. Afterwards, a reception with light refreshments at the large pavilion at Heritage Farm Park.

Those interested in volunteering should arrive at Trout Park at 8:30am. Please contact the Town Parks committee at [email protected].

Any homeowners on the corner of Bedrock/Polaris happen to catch camera footage of the vehicles that peeled out leaving the Polaris stop sign and did donuts in the intersection recently? Tire marks suggest such. Would certainly bolster ongoing discussions with the Resident Troopers & Town Management over the need for patrols.
