Happy Saturday!

Just a reminder that TODAY is the last day to Register for Spring Lax! We have record numbers this year and WILL NOT be extending Registration, so PLEASE make sure to Register today if you have not already done so.

We do have several Teams that are at capacity so you may get a notification to join the Waitlist. We will do our best to confirm those as soon as possible after Registration closes.

Happy New Year GVAA Family!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday Season and a very Happy New Year!

Registration is under way and looks great so far! However, Registration will close on January 31st and we are looking to hold to that deadline this year so that we can ensure we are out in front of opening our Team Store as well as ensuring Uniforms are ordered well in advance.

We are extremely excited to say that we are looking to field Boys and Girls Teams at EVERY age group this year - K-8th! Last year was our best Registration year ever and we fielded more Teams than ever before - and we are looking to improve upon that this year and have an awesome season for our Players!

Hard to believe that it is THAT TIME to start preparing for our Spring Lax Season - but it is! I know many of us are just starting Winter Sports, so I will keep it short - REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!

Our team store is closing soon! We have extended the deadline to Monday, 2/24. There will be no additional extensions as we’d like to have everyone’s spirit wear as early in the season as possible. Shop til you drop from now until Monday, 2/24.

GVAA Lax Families!

We hope everyone is having a great start to 2025! Hard to believe that we will start our 2025 Spring Season in less than 2 months! Updates:

1 - Registration closes 1/31/25! We would really like to get our Registration completed as soon as possible so that we can get ahead of Uniform orders as well as opening of the Team Store. As well, Team Counts are due to the League 1/21, so it is important to have as many registered as possible prior to that date.

2 - we have put a cap on the 3/4 Boys Team of 22 players. As of now, we have 18 who have completed Registration and another 5 who have either started the registration process or have it 'In Cart.' It is important to complete that process to ensure a spot on the Team. Once we hit the 22, you will be placed on a Wait List. We will do our best to find a spot for Boys, but please understand that with more than 22 players on a Team it makes it very difficult to ensure every Player gets the needed attention during practices or the desired playing time during Games.

3 - There have been questions around practice Schedules so we wanted to address that. Once Registration is complete and Teams are set, the Coaches will reach out in terms of practice Schedules. Our Coaches will work to coordinate practice schedules to accommodate as many as possible. As for Games, we do not have those Schedules yet, but would expect it to be very similar to last year with our Boy's Teams K-6 playing on Saturdays, Boys 7-8 on Sundays and Girl's Teams on Sundays as well. We will obviously communicate that as soon as we know.

4 - we are working with Play It Again Sports again this year to get a discount for all GVAA players on merchandise. We will have those Discount Coupons once Registration closes. We strongly recommend Play It Again Sports over Dicks as far as selection and price. They also do a great job stringing Lax heads if you need that.

If you know of ANYONE who may be interested but not on this Distro List, please feel free to forward to anyone who may want to play. We are looking to have our highest Lax Registration year EVER and want to provide an opportunity to as many as we can.
