The WHS FBLA Chapter attended the District I 2025 Fall Leadership Conference at the Greenwood Performing Arts Center.
The forty-three students who attended today aim to make an impact and a difference in the lives of others and in the community. The club donated $100 to the FBLA Foundation to help fund programs, scholarships, and events. It is because of the support of our school, families, and community that we can do so. For this, we are grateful.
District I Officers were announced to the members and attendance was reported through local chapter presidents in The Parade of Presidents. Mrs. Waddle brought greetings from the Arkansas Association of Career and Technical Education as a Business Division Vice-President alongside District I Coordinator and ABEA Representative, Randa Mickle.
The keynote speaker, Dr. Tyler Tarver, a math teacher turned YouTube sensation, administrator turned motivational speaker, kept the audience engaged with his quick wit and energetic presence. He shared wisdom, advice, and tips for success in leadership and future employment.
WHS freshman, Miranda Yarbrough, and Junior, Layklnn Falconer, participated in the annual Battle of the Chapters, an FBLA trivia game. JC Westside High School placed first while Paris placed second.
The Chapter Officer installation brought the meeting to a close. The installation is a significant event marking the official induction of new officers and recognizing their new roles and responsibilities within the chapter.

Two of our Small Business Operations students, Braxton Bartlett and Sean Hancox, put their creativity and business skills to work by designing the official t-shirt for this yearโ€™s Friday Night Lights Mini Cheer Camp! ๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ–ค

Their design not only shows school spirit but also highlights how students can create with the customer in mindโ€”a key part of running a successful business.

Small Business Operations class fosters creativity, innovation, and a customer-first mindset, giving students hands-on opportunities to apply what they learn in real-world projects.

๐Ÿ‘ A big congratulations to these talented students for bringing spirit and design together!

We are incredibly proud to celebrate Blake for placing 9th in the nation at the 2025 FBLA National Leadership Conference! ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธโœจ
