Southern Stars has created a Football Pool for the Commanders vs. Cowboys game on Sunday, Jan 8, 2023.

Cost to play is $10 per square. Prize payouts are:

1st Quarter: $150

2nd Quarter/Half-time: $150

3rd Quarter: $150

4th Quarter/Final: $150

You need to claim one or more squares by
Saturday, Jan 7, 2023

Game numbers will be revealed when all are done claiming squares.

Southern Stars #36 will resume its Annual Christmas Chari-tea on Saturday, 12-03-2022, AT 1pm. We have decided to hold it at the Pythian Hall in Edgewater, MD to be more centrally located. The price will remain the same as in past years. It will consist of our regular four courses, lots of food, fun, and fellowship. Plus we will have door prizes, 50/50. Our Charities this year are Bridging Life Hospice and Maryland Food Bank. There will be a box for non- perishable food donations at the event. Tickets are available at Eventbrite, or payable personally thru our Cash App account, $southernstars36. We hope you will be able to join us to kick off your Holiday season. Ladies and gentlemen it is with great sadness that I have to share our former Pythian Sister Valerie Williams passed away this morning. Please keep her daughter and husband in your prayers.
