May is Brain Cancer Awareness Month... Approximately 5.7% of ALL newly diagnosed brain tumors, including adults, occur under age 21. Childhood brain and other nervous system cancers are most frequently diagnosed among ages 5–9. Some childhood Brain cancers such as DMG and DIPG have survival rates of less than 10%.
