Unfortunately, since only 8 volunteers came out we weren't able to get through everything on our list including all of the indoor organization and cleaning.

Remember our Post Home is maintained largely through these volunteer efforts. Thank you again to those who came out this morning for ensuring we can continue to operate and serve our veteran community.

Lasagna, Salad, Garlic Bread, Dessert. Enjoy a nice comfy meal with us.
Reminder: No food service on Thursday, May 28th. But come in and enjoy your favorite beverage and play Queen-of-Hearts.

A special congratulations to the entire VFW Post 8810 John W. Trotter-Robert D. Stethem Memorial Post on earning All-State for 2025-2026. Certificate, Caps for Commander Dudak and Quartermaster Grimes, Pins, and Department Commanders Coin presented by VFW MD Commander Bruce Edwards and Veterans of Foreign Wars VFW Adjutant General Dan West.

Commander Debbie Dudak and Jr. Vice Commander Heaven Leigh Carroll are representing the Post this week at the 106th VFW MD Convention.

Thursday May 28 no food service at the Post. Last week (May 21) was the final pizza night for the season. Taking a break before next week (June 3) start of Hot Dogs and Chili Dogs.
You can still come in and say hello, and have your favorite beverage.

Over 800 Veterans final resting place.

Putting flags out at Trinity Memorial Gardens Saturday 23 May 9:00 a.m. There are over 700 to put out, needing as many volunteers as possible to help place the flags on our Veterans graves. If you can help, please come out to honor our veterans who are no longer with us, but in our hearts.
We are monitoring the weather so stay tuned. May need to start on Friday (tomorrow).

The VFW Post 8810 John W. Trotter-Robert D. Stethem Memorial Post family came out to participate in our today at the Charlotte Hall Veterans Home.

We had a wonderful time hosting an Ice Cream Social and Bingo for our fellow veterans showing that we are . We are grateful to be able to directly give back to those who came before and can't wait to return for another event.
