St. Andrew's Child Care Program The St. Andrew's Child Care Program in Walden, NY provides before and after-school child care for school-aged children (kindergarten through grade 5). St.

Andrew's Child Care Program provides child care during the hours before (beginning at 7:00 a.m.) and after (until 5:30 p.m.) the children's school day, following the schedule of the Valley Central School District. The cost is $12/session for the first child in a family. All additional children within the family will be charged $9/session.

We unfortunately are unable to open for the half day tomorrow afternoon. We only have 4 kids signed up. We are sorry for any inconvenience for those that were signed up.

Tuesday February 10th is a scheduled half day for school. There is a sign up sheet in the daycare for those that will need aftercare. We do close at 4:00 on half days. There is a flat rate of $28 per child.

As we settle in for a new year, we have a few changes happening. Here is a note from our director Miss Beth.

I hope everyone is enjoying the holidays. I just wanted everyone to know that I will be retiring as the director at St, Andrews Child Care Program. I am handing the reins over to Miss Michelle, who will be the interim director, effective January 1st. It has been a pleasure getting to know the children and parents who have come to St. Andrews throughout the years. I will take with me many fond memories of those who left a little piece of themselves in the memory book of St. Andrews.

Miss Beth will be missed terribly but she won't be too far. She made a great team to take care of every child that steps foot through our door. We wish her nothing but happiness in her retirement.

This Thursday 12/4 Santa is coming to town. The village uses our building for his arrival. We will be closing at 5:00. Please make arrangements to have all children picked up.

We hope everyone is enjoying their summer. As it starts to come to an end we just want to make sure we have all registrations in. We still have a few openings for mornings and plenty of afternoon spots available.
