Twas a chilly day yesterday but we were thankful there was no rain! We are very grateful for all the people that helped to make this day such a success. As with all our events, we don't do this alone and it doesn't get done in one day. We don't just show up on Sunday and go.We want to thank those helpers who went to the museum numerous times to get the grounds and equipment ready . We couldn't do this without you.
Thank you to the Orange County Farmer's Museum for letting us rent the grounds every year to do our Fundraising Tractor Pull. This was the very first event we did 12 years ago to help to raise funds to give away the Jimmy Holbert Memorial Scholarship at Valley Central High School. With the help of others, we have been able to continue this event successfully each year since then.
We also want to thank J.M.J. Industrial Mechanical for once again donating the trophies! His donation allows us to give more of the proceeds back to the community. We like to make them memorable, and this year was no exception. If you scroll through the pics you will see a Fish on top of the trophies!🎣😁iykyk

It is always a bittersweet day for sure, but we are grateful for those that help, those that participate and those that just stop by to say hello. It helps us to know that so many still think of James and are helping us keep his memory alive. 🤠🚜💙

In keeping with the Fishing Theme- we once again donated Fishing Gear to the lucky finders of the Silver Eggs at the Walden Recreation Egg Hunt. We weren't able to go so we didn't get a photo of all 3 winners, but we were able to get one from the Wallkill Valley Times of two of the winners. Hoping they use them at the Tin Brook where they just released 750 Trout! Congratulations ! 🤠 🎣 💙

Our elves were busy again this year shopping for two small families in our community. We are very grateful for all of you that support us throughout the year that allows us to do this every year in memory of James. We are also very thankful for our elves in our committee that do the shopping and wrapping of the gifts. They will be off this week to the families . Hoping you all have a wonderful holiday with your families.Hope to see you along the way next year! Merry Christmas and a very Happy, Healthy New Year. 🤠❤️😇

Thank you to Isaiah Wilson and Valley Sports and Performance for their amazing donation of $325 from their Fundraiser this past Sunday. Isaiah was a friend and teammate of James' and now coaches in the Valley Central School District. He coaches among other teams- the newly formed Girls Varsity Flag Football team and held a Flag Football Combine with donations accepted to Jimmy's Helping Hands, Inc. We are so grateful for friends like this that help keep James' memory alive! 🥰🤠🏈💙😇
