Orange County Rural Development Advisory Corporation (RDAC), a subsidiary of RUPCO, on behalf of the Hurricane Ida Homeowner Repair and Reimbursement Program (IHRR) subrecipients, is pleased to release the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to establish a Qualified Contractor Pool for residential rehabilitation, reconstruction, and mitigation projects funded through the Hurricane Ida IHRR Program.

We cherish every opportunity we get to gather as a team. Here's an (almost) all-staff photo from our staff meeting in Newburgh last week! ✨

Because staff are based in multiple Hudson Valley counties, we make it a priority to meet in person at different RUPCO properties throughout the year. This month's meeting at Highpoint was extra special as we prepare for Celebrate Community, our annual fundraiser supporting homes, people, and stronger communities, which will take place in the sanctuary space on June 11th.

April is Fair Housing Month, and we're using this moment to reaffirm RDAC's commitment to equal access to housing for all 💚

The Fair Housing Act of 1968 was a major step in banning housing discrimination based on race, color, religion, national origin, s*x, familial status, or disability. Yet, barriers to fair housing still exist today.

Housing is a human right. Let’s continue working toward more inclusive communities where everyone has a place to call home.
