25 years ago today, on another picture perfect morning just like today, our Nation was forever changed. 🇺🇸

Today we pause as a Nation to remember 9-11, and we stand together to honor the 2,977 lives lost, and the thousands of families shattered.

We thank our Green Mountain Boys for immediately answering the call - flying to protect us, in the moments after the disaster began to unfold. 🇺🇸

We give our heartfelt thanks to all of the FDNY members, EMS and NYPD, and K9s as well as the thousands of volunteers who tirelessly fought to save lives and especially those who never returned.

We will never forget 🇺🇸

We stand as a Nation, we rebuild, we honor and continue to fight for our freedom in this 250th Anniversary year.

God Bless America, the Land of the Free, because of the Brave 🇺🇸

Folks, there's a huge line of major thunderstorms heading this way from the northwest.

Some areas to our NW right now are under a tornado warning, not a typo. While we're currently outside the box, the whole mess is moving this way.

If you have stuff outside at risk of blowing away, put it away now while it's safe to do so. Remember if you can hear thunder, you're in danger of being struck by lightning.

Be well, stay safe, keep kids and pets close, and keep an eye on the sky tonight.
