All good things must come to an end. The Revitalization Committee has made the decision to dissolve. This Committee has slowly found itself with less than a handful of volunteers with only a couple individuals active in the work needed to continue. Over the years, we have given a lot to our community; including the building and placement of the planters, the beautiful sign at the M28 entrance to Wakefield, another sign that welcomed travelers to visit our historic downtown, along with creating the “Wakefield-Recreation Destination “ logo. Thank you to everyone who has been involved over the years.
Watch for the opportunity to take a planter, if you wish, once the flowers have been removed. They will be placed at the west side of the municipal building.
ALMOST FORGOT TO MENTION THAT THIS COMMITTEE DESIGNED AND PAID FOR THE BANNERS AROUND THE LAKE. Thank you again to all that contributed to our efforts to revitalize our community.😘
