🖐🏻🖐🏽🖐🏿Hands Free Breast Pumps pumps came up in today’s Virtual Group....

We wondered if any of you have had any troubles or successes with these pumps?

Namely: the ELVIE and the WILLOW..

Had anyone has success with insurance coverage?

We have heard that the Elvie is life changing in the freedom it brings but also that it LEAKS for some people!?🍯

We know that the Willow and Elvie are expensive but have heard of some insurances covering it partially....

Also... we’ve heard that some people have had success ordering the machine used but with fresh parts... is anyone rigging it?

During our virtual moms group this week we talked a lot about the daily stressors and anxieties that the current state of our world is bringing about. As promised here are some resources to help you cope! (This is to help ease tension- not to cure anxiety or depression! Prior to the COVID-19 Outbreak about 15% of mother’s experienced postpartum anxiety or depression and we suspect these numbers are much higher currently- CONTACT YOUR PROVIDER IF YOU’RE EXPERIENCING ANXIETY OR DEPRESSION)
1️⃣ strap on your sneakers and get outside for a walk

Close contact and early, exclusive breastfeeding helps a baby to thrive.

A woman with COVID-19 should be supported to
• breastfeed safely
• hold her newborn skin-to-skin
• share a room with her baby

Sleep glorious sleep...and you don’t get any. We have all had that friend whose baby sleeps well all night and we smile with our dark circles and mangy hair, pretending to be happy for them when we are so so very jealous 😩😩

Your baby waking through the night is normal, healthy and developmentally appropriate. Here's why you're right not to sleep train.

In the grand scheme of things, the period when babies are wakeful and needy is a blip in time.
