Wakefield Small Business Relief Fund

A group of local non-profits have banded together, to join forces in support of Small Businesses that have fallen to the affects of the COVID crisis. A crowdfunding campaign through Patronicity has been initiated; the Friends of Wakefield Small Business Fund has gone live this morning, Tuesday, April 28th.

The Wakefield Independence Day Committee, Wakefield Main Streets, Wakefield Rotary, and the host organization Wakefield Community Partnership, will be accepting applications from qualifying businesses; the goal is to provide assistance up to the amount of $1000 per business, in the form of a grant, depending on the amount raised. The grant program is being managed by representatives of the initiating organizations. The grant funds will be disbursed according to the qualifying conditions set forth on the website. Application submittal deadline is midnight on Friday May 8th.
