Troop 1 Wakefield Welcome to the page of Troop One Wakefield, one of the oldest troops in the country!! Welcome to the public page of Troop One Wakefield!

Wakefield RI is fortunate to be home to one of the oldest Scout Troops in the Country! Thousands of scouts have made Troop One their home. We are currently welcoming new members, and invite you to see what Scouting is all about. Troop One is a fun, safe, vibrant youth-led organization. Under the watchful eyes of Scoutmaster Jeff Cadman and Assistant Scoutmaster Theron Grim, Troop one promotes valu

es-based youth development. This is achieved by exploring the outdoors, experiencing new things, providing service to others, and working towards rank advancement. All this while enjoying time with friends outside!!

-We are sponsored by the Elks of South Kingstown.

-Our Cabin (YES!! Our very own cabin!) is located on Silver LakeAve, overlooking the
Saugatucket River.

-Meetings are weekly on Thursday evenings, with monthly weekend outings and a week each summer at Camp Yawgoog.

-All adult members are Youth Safety Trained and are parents of Troop One scouts.

-Parents with girls interested in Scouting are encouraged to reach out for information regarding local scout troop options for girls.
