These sweet rescue pups had quite the journey. ❤️🐾✈️

We flew to Duplin County, NC, picked up our precious passengers, and carried them north to Ocean City, Maryland. From there, Pilot Jeremy took over and completed the final leg of their journey to Poughkeepsie, New York.

Rescue transport takes teamwork, coordination, and a whole lot of heart. Every mile brings these pups farther from uncertainty and closer to safety, love, and the fresh start they deserve.

Goodbye to one chapter… but definitely not the end of their story. ❤️

✈️🐾 TOMORROW, TEN LITTLE LIVES TAKE FLIGHT! 🐾✈️

Just look at these faces. ❤️

Tomorrow morning, TailWaggin’ TailWinds Rescue is taking to the skies for another very special Freedom Flight — and this time, 10 precious puppies will be our VIP passengers!

Our first stop is Duplin County, North Carolina, where these tiny pups will leave behind an uncertain future and climb aboard our Cirrus for the first leg of a journey that will change their lives forever.

From there… WE’RE HEADING NORTH! ✈️

We’ll fly our little passengers to Ocean City, Maryland, where we’ll meet our wonderful fellow rescue pilot, Dr. Bob. He’ll take over from there and continue their journey to Poughkeepsie, New York, where a safe shelter will be waiting to welcome them.

Think about that for a minute.

Tomorrow morning, these babies will be sitting in Duplin County.

By the end of their journey, they’ll be hundreds of miles away — safe, wanted, protected, and one enormous step closer to finding families of their very own. ❤️

THAT is why we fly.

Sometimes the only thing standing between a shelter dog and safety is distance.

We have an airplane.
We have incredible rescue partners.
And together, we can turn hundreds of miles into a few hours — and uncertainty into HOPE.

🐾 10 puppies.
✈️ 2 rescue pilots.
📍 North Carolina → Maryland → New York.
❤️ One mission: GET THEM SAFE.

And somewhere between puppy kisses, airplane engines, crates and handoffs, we’re hoping to squeeze in a little lunch on the water at SSunset Grill & Bart Grill in Ocean City. 🌊☀️ A beautiful view and a good lunch sounds like the perfect way to celebrate ten little lives headed toward brand-new futures!

We’re taking you along with us tomorrow! I’ll be sharing lots of little behind-the-scenes moments — puppy pickup, loading the airplane, takeoff, our tiny passengers in the air, landing in Maryland, and the handoff to Dr. Bob for the next leg north.

FOLLOW ALONG TOMORROW — you are NOT going to want to miss this one! ✈️🐶❤️

These ten babies have no idea what’s about to happen.

They don’t know about airplanes.
They don’t know about Maryland or New York.
They don’t know that people they’ve never met are working together across multiple states just to save them.

All they know is that tomorrow, someone is coming for them.

And we are. ❤️
