Friends we still need more volunteers for Saturday to help set up the food at our pantry pop-up. It is indoors in Raleigh, just outside the beltline, aka 440, and the volunteers are needed 1000-130. Even if you could only do the first hour helping set up we would be so appreciative!! 🙏❤️

*In Wake County alone ~16,000 children are fed through SNAP.*
The need is unprecedented now with the withholding of SNAP funds. That program's budget pays for SNAP and WIC, and it includes feeding infants, children, elderly, and the disabled, including disabled veterans.

Food Pantries like ours cannot sustain without the generous support of our community members. This year's Thanksgiving event will be on a first come, first served basis. We always have a line waiting for our food giveaways, and expect more this year.

You can donate goods at one of our drop boxes, bring them to the event, or donate money. If you want to sponsor an entire meal for a family, you can sign up in the Carolina Cares group here on FB to talk to them directly, donate $45 to us, or bring the uncooked food to the event and hand out to a family yourself. today we joined an incredible group of vendors for a back to school event like no other! We provided 350+ kids with backpacks, full of school supplies, families with pantry staples, hygiene products, and diapers. Other vendors provided free health, screenings, haircuts, and even support with voter registration!

Today we joined an incredible group of vendors for a back-to-school event like no other! We distributed backpacks full of school supplies for 350+ kids from K-12, pantry staples, hygiene products, diapers, and more. Meanwhile, other vendors gave out free health checks, haircuts, and even help for voter registration.

It is almost time for our annual Holiday Event! 🎄
🎉Please see details below for all volunteers planning to attend.

All volunteers should be registered with CC as a volunteer, and signed up for this specific event below.

Please wear something festive or a red top and comfortable shoes. There will be a few people dressed as elves, so feel free to go all out. :)

We will have water, coffee, hot chocolate, and snacks on site.

Also please carpool at Method Rd if possible.

We will have a quick volunteer orientation before we begin unloading and setting up.
