Thanks Terry Pulley for taking time to volunteer by delivering Pillow Packs to children and teens! Bags were delivered to: Families Living Violence Free, Lifeline Henderson, Central Children’s Home Oxford and Haven House Raleigh.

Reflecting upon the 2018 year we are leaving and looking forward to the 2019 year ahead we wanted to stop and say Thank you for our Volunteers and Contributors. With your support in 2018 we made new partnerships across NC supplying Pillow Packs to children entering foster care and Veterans. We also strengthened our team and developed action plans for the New Year to include reaching out to teens and young adults who are in homeless situations. As the light begins to dim on 2018 we are grateful for what we have accomplished. Now, as we look ahead to 2019 we are excited to grow our efforts in supporting children and teens, along with young adults and Veterans.

We had the opportunity to visit Haven House in Raleigh this past week. It was pretty amazing at the great work they do for at risk youth in our communities. Glad we are able to provide Pillow Packs to support their mission. Check out their website at: https://www.havenhousenc.org/

We Love our Volunteers! They not only do an amazing job, they are amazing people as well! It was a blessing to be able to attend New Grace Baptist Church during their VBS. So appreciative for prayers over the personal care packs that were put together which will be donated to children displaced from their homes.

Our foster parents tell us that KidsPeace Foster Care is better than other foster care programs because of the special attention our staff gives to every family.

Memorial Day or Decoration Day is a federal holiday in the United States for remembering the people who died while serving in the country's armed forces. (Wikipedia).
Pillow Pack remembers those who are no longer here and seeks to serve those Veterans (who are currently facing challenging situations) with an outreach of support. We appreciate your service to our country!
