Despite not being able to pressure wash the exterior, we had a great day spring cleaning the lodge building. The sound system has been restored to working condition, the archives room has been cleaned out, the nooks and crannies have been freed of their unnecessary junk, and the local Eastern Star chapter will receive donations from our lodge.

A brief history of Wake Forest Lodge 282 was found in hard copy format, Scanned to PDF and transposed to Word format, and the historical minutes in an older word processing format were converted to MS Word format.

A bit of history rediscovered today: the sprig of acacia which is framed and hung in the lodge room came from Palestine and was donated to our lodge by a brother in A.D. 1919!

If you haven’t been to Wake Forest Lodge 282 lately, come on back out. 2023 is shaping up to be an historic year.

We had our officer installation for the ensuing year at our last meeting for this year. Congratulations to our officers!

Brethren,

Come on out for our penultimate meeting for 2021!

Our Masonic Education will be the returning of two catechisms; Fellowcraft and Master Mason.

We will also have a report from the Committee on Masonic Education, with a proposed plan for educational topics in 2022.

Finally, on December 14th, we will install our 2022 Officers.
