Courtney at Dogtopia in Cary has volunteered countless grooming hours to help transform these pups and prepare them for adoption. Her kindness, patience, and compassion give them the time they need—often for their very first grooming experience. Just look at their incredible transformations and how much better they feel!

Thank you, Courtney, to the transport volunteers who get them to and from their appointments, and to the fosters who open their homes and hearts to these dogs. ❤️

On this week's Animal Adoption Journey, meet Turnover!

Turnover may have been a little shy in front of the cameras during his visit to the MyCarolina set, but we promise—this sweet boy is ready for his close-up! ❤️

At just 3 months old and 20 pounds, Turnover is a handsome hound mix with the most unique coloring. He’s already showing off some great qualities -rides well in the car, gets along with other dogs, curious and eager to learn, sweet as can be, and, of course, absolutely adorable!

Turnover is just one of the many puppies currently available for adoption at Saving Grace. There are lots of little personalities, wagging tails, and loving pups waiting to meet their people!

Ryu’s Second Chance ❤️

Ryu and Kusner came to Saving Grace after their owner passed away, leaving behind 14 Yorkies. When the shelter called about them, we knew we wanted to help.

That same day, 20 other dogs also arrived needing care. All needed grooming, vaccines, medical attention, and plenty of TLC. The average cost to care for each dog was about $1,000, but Ryu needed even more.

Ryu arrived with an old, untreated broken leg that left him unable to use it. Last week, he underwent an amputation—and he is already doing so much better. He’s more comfortable, moving better, and has a much better quality of life.

Now, Ryu is ready for his next chapter: finding his forever home. ❤️ Of the Yorkies, only Ryu and Kusner are still waiting for their families to find them.

We never know when the next call for help will come or how much care the dogs will need. Your donations make it possible for us to say yes—providing medical care, foster support, rehabilitation, and the TLC dogs like Ryu desperately need.

$15 includes a harnessed dog to walk; this fee goes towards helping our dogs stay happy and healthy!
Summer Hours:
4 Mile check-in: 8:00 AM
3 Mile check-in 8:15 AM & 8:30 AM
The 4 mile hike may be changed to the 3 mile course depending on the weather. The decision will be made at the departure of the hike.
